I had a problem with the linkage that connects my windshield wipers to the motor unexpectedly. They got me in and out in a few hours at the last minute with no appointment. Excellent customer service. I have been bringing my car's here for about 4 years now and will always bring my car to Zalooms as long as I live in Staten Island.
On the way out of Staten Island my tire went flat out of nowhere. Pulled in to Zaloom's and George took the car right in and looked at it. When he realized he didn't have the tire we needed he called another service center down the street and made arrangements for us to get the tire we needed and get it mounted. He even got us a discount at the other service center. If I lived anywhere near Staten Island I would be returning to Zalooms for all my auto repairs and maintenance. What a great guy and business!
Friendly, helpful, professional. A rated shop. Can highly recommend. I look forward to the times I need to have my car serviced. I gave them three chances and brought my car three times here and each time I end up bringing it somewhere else. It seems like their main concern is charging and paying. They don't care about their costumers or the work that they do, they just want to make sure they charge you as much as they possible can and collect the money. They charged me 115 dollars for opening up my truck and looking at my battery, they didn't run any diagnostics or tests! And when you ask to explain the chargers, you're addressed with attitude. It's a shame but lesson learned.
We brought our minivan in to have our headlights restored (under lifetime warranty purchased 3 years ago). Though we had to wait a couple of hours for it, they completed the job in the time period as promised. And the headlights look even better than the first time. Zaloom is consistent in its attention to detail and superior service.
